Hey there - I'm Olivia Fryt; an engineer and data scientist with a passion for learning, problem-solving, and creating. I received my MS in Applied Data Science from the University of Southern California and hold a dual BS in Cognitive Science and Science, Technology, & Society Studies (STSS) from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. I have a background in all things data, from data engineering, ops, and building data-intensive applications to data science, machine learning, and analytics. I began my career in the cyber security industry as the second employee of a successful startup, and I am now building-out a fresh data ecosystem as a member of the Sonar Data Science team at the Applied Research Laboratories: UT Austin.
Curious by nature and a true do-it-yourselfer, I am drawn to new adventures and learning opportunities. These experiences widen and enrich the lens through which I approach and conjur up my projects. As such, off the keyboard I am an avid indoor cyclist, runner, foodie, plant lady, and dog mom.
